We are now offering McGowen barrels. We have a revolving account with McGowen and will be receiving barrels monthly.
McGowen barrels are hand-lapped, air-gauged (.0003″), and contoured. The contoured barrel blanks come 26.25″, ready to thread and chamber. There is no need to remove 1″ off the McGowen blanks. McGowen cuts the 1″ off the muzzle for you! McGowen does offer longer finish lengths up to 32″ finish length.
We have a comprehensive inventory of both Stainless and Carbon Wrapped McGowen barrels. Call for Real-Time Inventory, as there is always something out of stock! Carbon Wrapped barrels vary in lead times from in stock to 2/6 months.
We can always custom order a McGowen barrel with ANY of the calibers, twists, and contours they offer. Typically the lead times for custom orders will run 6/12 weeks. We can even order Chrome Moly barrels if you prefer.
